Kenny Dewees

Kenny Dewees went to Ahrens trade school where he learned about electronics. Soon after he joined the Air Force as a radar technician and also taught electronics while stationed at Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. After leaving the Air Force he went to work for Filco and Burroughs doing radar repair. He then moved back to Louisville where he worked for Tiller Hammond and Organ for 3 years. During this time he was doing repairs out of his garage, and soon after opened D# Service Center on 18th street in Louisville. He then saw the need to add a retail side to the service center and opened Far-Out Music in New Albany. In 1979 he moved Far-Out to their current location in Jeffersonville. Kenny enjoys golfing and playing cards.
